House of Frames

Holiday House in Milano in the mid-centre

Our property

House of Frames is not a hotel. It is a real Milanese guesthouse — lived in, loved, and welcoming guests who want Milan to feel personal. The building dates from the early 20th century and it shows, in the best possible way: handmade *cementine* tiles underfoot, vintage glass doors, warm parquet, and a quiet private garden that feels like a secret in the middle of Milan. Rooms are bright and recently renovated, with free WiFi, complimentary coffee, and small touches that make the difference after a long day in the city. A few things worth knowing before you book: the bathroom is shared — spacious, spotless, and carefully maintained — and the apartment is on the third floor of a building with no elevator. Air conditioning is available in every room for a small extra charge. Getting around Milan is easy. The M1 metro is a short walk away, connecting you directly to Duomo in just a few stops. Navigli, the Tortona design district, Fondazione Prada, MI-CO Convention Center, and San Siro Stadium are all within easy reach — whether you are in Milan for Fashion Week, Salone del Mobile, business travel, a concert, or simply to experience the city. House of Frames is a Milan guesthouse for solo travellers, design lovers, and business guests looking for a well-connected residential base in the city. We look forward to welcoming you to Milan.

The M1 metro provides quick connections to the Duomo and the city centre, while Santa Maria delle Grazie, CityLife, MiCo, the Navigli and the Tortona district with MUDEC are all within easy reach. Fondazione Prada adds another important destination for lovers of contemporary art, culture and architecture. Tram 16 runs directly to San Siro, particularly convenient for concerts and football matches, while the M1 connects directly to Rho Fiera. For guests arriving by car, paid street parking and secure garages are available approximately 300 metres from the house.
